Our Perazzi Experience

Updated: Jun 18

Our team were lucky enough to be invited over to Italy to sample the sights and sounds of the Perazzi Experience in its full, unedited splendour, from the smell of the wood room to the sights of master engravers meticulously hand-crafting the most intricate scenes and scrolls into each and every game shotgun produced.

The day for our team, however, starts off in London, with a near two hour flight to Milan. Perazzi encourage all customers to land into either Linate, Malpensa, or Verona airport and make their way to the nearby town of Botticino, Brescia, where the Perazzi factory awaits its customer to select their perfect gun.

Upon arrival to the factory, they were met by two generations of the Perazzi family in father and son duo Mauro and Nicola, who have continued the work of Daniele - a brilliant father, and grandfather who built Perazzi from the ground up with a simple dream and an absolute desire to be the best. His daughter Roberta also runs the business and between the three of them have continued that dream into the 21st century, with visitors from around the world coming to Botticino to be a part of the journey from idea, to completion.

With an incredibly warm welcome, our team were brought into the immaculate showroom which was emblazoned with delicately designed and placed rugs, historic photos that showed the history of the company, and the various medal winners of Olympic Games gone by. They were then shown examples of game and competition models - this is a chance to handle the finished guns in person, and take in the beauty of the craftsmanship - giving a stronger idea of what can expected from Perazzi.

Mauro told our team the story of his company, his father, and the process to create a special commemorative gun for him. A one-of-a-kind 28g special which took over 800 hours to engrave and 2 years of manufacturing expertise - we were completely blown away.

From here, the process for the customer would begin with choosing the model, grade of wood, having the gun fit to your exact measurements, and the engraving pattern. Every aspect of the gun can be configured in any which way you desire, creating a gun that you can be proud of, with a quality that can be passed down the generations.
